And they’re a couple of sizes too small. It’s going to take a while to get used to the ‘new look’ of small tyres. Still, safety first, and not bad for £115 all in.

That’s a lot of psi.

At least it looks like you actually need them.
Cornwall to Cattarick in the back of an LWB. All I can remember is:
1. Oh look that’s the turning for Pontefract.
2. Hours and hours of “wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr”

Somehow I didn’t note while I was there that you had the covered-up heater port. What’ve you got for heat in that thing, a little weenie recirculating one, or some kind of wacky MOD fresh air setup?

Yeh that’s for mid load on the bigger tyres. At max GVWR they’re supposed to be at 90psi :/

The air box is the cylindrical oil-bath-metal-mesh-filter type and has no cold air feed, rather it just sits in the engine bay a la Series vehicles (or maybe just mine?). The T-pipes and ducting from the Wolf wading pods (which sit where those blanks are) on either side have been removed, along with the pods, and the cold air feed hole on the air box shut off with a blank. So the heater is routed into the left wing top vent, with a dual layer foam filter which is permanently exposed to the elements. Should probably buy a snow cowl for it, if only to keep the rain off.

Ha yeh they’re not exactly comfortable in the back, with minimal amenities up front!

Are they LT tires? Here we call them light truck tires and usually have a high psi.

Military standard’s are (Goodyear G90), but I have Nexen Roadian MT’s, which are 80psi max.

You left one on the hood. Great looking truck!

Ah yes, you’re more right than you think here. That spare is bigger than the rest of them and I forgot to change it. That’s my job for the morning then :)
